Safer Recruitment
We operate robust recruitment and selection processes to ensure we employ safe, suitable staff and volunteers. All applicants undergo thorough vetting including references and background checks.
DBS Checks
All staff undergo Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks before starting. We maintain up-to-date DBS clearances and regularly review these requirements.
Mandatory Training
All staff receive mandatory safeguarding training on recruitment and regular updates. Training covers child protection, adult safeguarding, mental capacity, and other critical areas.
Risk Assessments
We conduct thorough risk assessments for all service users and environments. These are regularly reviewed and updated in response to changing circumstances.
Professional Standards
We maintain high professional standards across all our services. Staff are expected to adhere to codes of conduct and professional ethics at all times.
Clear Policies
We have comprehensive policies and procedures covering all aspects of safeguarding, including handling allegations, concerns and disclosures appropriately.
